Have you ever wanted to learn how to play Magic: The Gathering? Or do you have friends and family who are curious about the game but don’t know where to start? Join us for Magic Academy: Learn to Play, the perfect introduction to the world of Magic!

This fun and friendly event is open to brand-new players, those who’ve played a couple of games, and even experienced players who want to help teach others.

Here’s what to expect:

• Learn Together: We’ll kick things off with a video demo that walks through the basics of gameplay, showcasing what makes Magic such an awesome and engaging game.

• Get Your Gear: Each new player will receive a Welcome Deck, a Learn-to-Play guide, a pocket reference card, and some cool stickers—everything you need to dive into the game!

• Play Friendly Games: After the demo, players will be paired up (by experience level whenever possible) to play fun, low-pressure games.

• Help on Hand: Experienced players and staff will be available to answer questions, explain rules, and even jump into a game if needed!

Whether you’re a Brand New Beginner, an Intermediate Beginner, or an Advanced Beginner, we’ve got you covered! This is a great way to learn the game, improve your skills, and meet fellow players in a welcoming, casual environment.

At the end of the event, we’ll share tips on how to keep playing—whether it’s at your kitchen table, on Magic: The Gathering Arena, or by coming back for our weekly Friday Night Magic events.
